Olympic Torch Pics
Here are a few photos of what was seen at Red Lane Rosudgeon when Geoff Letchford handed the flame over (the "kiss") to Andy McKenzie. Also captured was the wonderful crowd of well wishers, including Barbara and Jean from Perranuthnoe with their patriotic flags.
Thank you to Michael for sending the pics in.

Karen's Farm In Top 5% in UK For Clean Milk
Without warning or announcement all UK milk producers have a raw sample of milk taken away for analysing to ensure it meets the Food Standards Agency criteria. This happened to Karen a couple of weeks ago. She has just had the results back, she is in the top 5% in the UK for clean milk!
You can read all about it here: http://karensfarmperranuthnoe.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/milk-testing.html
Great news Karen, well done

Be Part Of The Olympic Torch Relay in Marazion
Marazion looks set to be a real focal point on May 19th when the Olympic Torch passes through. There are fun runs being organised by Hayle Running Club (1 or 2 miles - you can enter on the day), TV crews, refreshments, mass-dancing, live music & lots more.
You can take part in the dance project which is part of the Olympic legacy and Big Dance 2012. You will work together to create a celebratory dance to mark the occasion that will be performed on the 19th May to live music.
The project is being supported by Marazion School and managed by Works Dance and Theatre Cornwall
People of all ages are welcome, you do not have to have a connection with the school, the instructors are brilliant, you do not have to stay for the whole duration at rehearsals, it is completely free and on the day there will be live dance-music by Bagas Degol.
Next practise is on Saturday at Marazion Town Hall at 10am.
