Recently, we were visited by Phil Drew from the RNLI. He chatted about the need for a lifeguard on Perranuthnoe Beach. This is something that Lisa and I have often talked about- ever since we were at the Cabin and were often the first stop for victims of weaver fish and even once a broken hip! Lifeguards are not only there to perform water rescues, they deal with anything from basic first aid requirements to cardiac arrests, broken bones and lost children to mention but a few.
If anyone in the village feels that a lifeguard during the summer season would be a benefit, then please feel free to pop in and add your signature to the petition. We have a coupe of weeks to gather as many names as possible.
We hope to see you soon

Michael Ball RIP
It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Michael Ball my eldest brother and beloved husband of Barbara passed away last Thursday having fought cancer for the last couple of years. This post is for the people that might not know and for those that don't live in the village but monitor this site and might be unaware. The funeral will be held at Perranuthnoe Church @ 2.00pm on Monday 20th July 2015 donations for Marie Currie & McMillan. After the service there will be refreshments at the Victoria Inn where everybody is welcome so do please come along.

Can Anyone Use These? They Are Free
I have just posted a couple of things on freecycle and I wondered whether there was anyone in the village who might be able to use them?

UPDATED: Needed Urgently
Thank you, I now have enough boxes.
Roz
Has anyone got any boxes, for packing stuff up, books, china, glass etc., they need to be strong, reasonably large, if they have a lid or flaps that close and can keep the stuff in that's good but not essential, cardboard or wood is fine. Of course I'll collect.

Thanks very much
