The churchyard has now had its annual cut

Volunteers are needed to help rake up the cut grass to help reduce the fertility so wild flowers will thrive.

Please come when you can and rake into piles.

These can be collected into one large heap.

If enough people come to help, each helper need only do a small area.

Come when you can.

Wheel barrows and rakes needed.

Many Hands make light work!

Volunteers Needed To Rake Up The Churchyard

Residents of Perranuthnoe

It's your churchyard.

The church yard has now had its annual cut.

Volunteers are invited to come at your leisure, any time soon, to rake up the cut grass . Half an hour of your time may be all that is needed to do a small share.

If you could rake up a section and leave it in a small heap by a path, it will be taken to the main heap at a later date. This makes it obvious to others which bit you have done.

It should be a sunny weekend so the perfect opportunity to help.  Or come later in the week if it's not finished. So please come and do your bit for the Community.

Thank you in advance

Annual Autumn Rake Up

Perranuthnoe Churchyard
Annual Autumn Rake Up

Saturday Nov 2nd

As a closed churchyard it is managed as a “Living Churchyard”. It is strim cut once per year in Autumn. Volunteers then rake up and clear to a compost heap. This reduces the fertility to encourage wild flowers to grow. Local people are asked to come and help rake up.

Rake Up Day
Sat Nov 2nd
Anytime during the day from 10am
Please bring a Rake and Wheelbarrow if you have one.

MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK

Soup and rolls will be provided

Please come and help with this project so that all can enjoy the churchyard as a Wildlife Haven into the future.
