Endurance Race

Perranuthnoe was one of the check points on the gruelling route of this years Classic Quarter endurance race which took place on Saturday 28th June.

This is the second year the race has been run. It was founded by Simon Tregoning from Helston to provide a legacy of fundraising for Cornwall Hospice Care, which looked after his father in his final days.

Over one hundred runners signed up for the event and met at Lizard Point car park from 5am on Saturday morning. The race is 44 miles long starting at the Lizard and ending at Land's End with some runners running the full amount and some doing it in relay teams.
