Have You Moved To BT Infinity
Would anyone in the village who has moved to BT Infinity or other fibre broadband product this year please contact me on mark.taylor@oryx-it.com
I am currently processing a high level test complaint through my provider Plusnet regarding the mis-selling of high data speeds. Plusnet have said that the more people who do the same, the more weight it will add to the case.
I am happy to assist anyone with their complaint and I would like to gauge exactly how many fibre customers there are in the area with the same issue.
Many thanks
Mark Taylor

Perranuthnoe Navy Call Up!
As you may know, me and Chas have spent the last few months taking photo portraits of various individuals and groups, connected to the village, for a forthcoming exhibition. The project is now drawing to a conclusion and we would like to create a group 'kayak' portrait of the Perranuthnoe Navy on the beach. The image will be used in our exhibition.
Please could you come to Perranuthnoe beach in wetsuit, etc together with your kayak on Tuesday 4 September at 4pm. The tide will be low(ish) at this time and we're hoping the weather will be good too, but whatever the weather just turn up! If you haven't got a kayak bring a surfboard.
We would like to get as many people to this event as possible so please spread the word.
Many thanks for your co-operation.

New Railings & Bench At The Top Of The Ramp
As you are all by now probably aware there has been a bench and some railings erected at the top of the ramp to the beach. These appeared overnight and there have been many complaints.
The level part where the railings are was supposed to be for less able bodied people to safely enjoy the view and surroundings without having to go right down on to the beach. Unfortunately the bench and railings have made it very difficult for wheelchair users as the space is very limited. This is aside from the fact that the said railings are an eyesore.
There is a petition to have the railings removed. If anyone would like to add their name they can do so at The Cabin.

Cheaper Energy
A new initiative from Cornwall Together has been bought to my attention. Cornwall Together is a group of Cornish people, joining together to save money on their energy bills. I know some in the village have already signed up. The more subscribers they get the better the deal we should all get!
Here's the link, have a look and see what you think:
