Planning Application
I would like to make village residents aware of the Planning Application for "a certificate of lawfulness" for continued use of the land south west of Seaview Cottage..., planning ref. PA12/04255. This is the piece of land just below Cynthia's cottage, approximately 2/3rds the way up the lane.

Have You Joined Cornwall Together
The countdown is on to 28th October when Cornwall Together will close its doors and start negotiating with the energy companies. It goes without saying that the more members we have, the better deal we will be able to secure.
What happens next?
On Monday 29th October we will hold a reverse auction whereby we will invite the energy suppliers to bid to supply the group. We'll aim to get the cheapest deal for everyone, although we will also be looking for an energy option from a more sustainable source. We'll then come back to you and you can decide to accept either offer and change your energy provider or not, there is no obligation.

Why buy in this way?
Apart from the fact that this should save you a lot of money, Cornwall Together is about bringing our community together to support each other and make a difference. The more members we have, the better price we hope to secure so please help us grow the group by spreading the word.

Have You Moved To BT Infinity
Would anyone in the village who has moved to BT Infinity or other fibre broadband product this year please contact me on mark.taylor@oryx-it.com
I am currently processing a high level test complaint through my provider Plusnet regarding the mis-selling of high data speeds. Plusnet have said that the more people who do the same, the more weight it will add to the case.
I am happy to assist anyone with their complaint and I would like to gauge exactly how many fibre customers there are in the area with the same issue.
Many thanks
Mark Taylor

Perranuthnoe Navy Call Up!
As you may know, me and Chas have spent the last few months taking photo portraits of various individuals and groups, connected to the village, for a forthcoming exhibition. The project is now drawing to a conclusion and we would like to create a group 'kayak' portrait of the Perranuthnoe Navy on the beach. The image will be used in our exhibition.
Please could you come to Perranuthnoe beach in wetsuit, etc together with your kayak on Tuesday 4 September at 4pm. The tide will be low(ish) at this time and we're hoping the weather will be good too, but whatever the weather just turn up! If you haven't got a kayak bring a surfboard.
We would like to get as many people to this event as possible so please spread the word.
Many thanks for your co-operation.
